SnapCar was created in 2012 by Dave Ashton and Yves Weisselberger, two experienced entrepreneurs in both the world of startups and online business travel management. The company’s vision is to make chauffeured transport immediately accessible to everyone, by offering a high quality alternative to taxis for companies, their employees, and individuals
Yves co-founded Klee Group, IT Services & Consulting Company, #40 “Great Place to work” in France. He also created and managed KDS, European Software leader in expenses & travel management until its acquisition by American Express in 2017. In the meantime, he started SnapCar with Dave in 2012. He is also President of FFTPR (main alliance of French e-hailing platforms). Yves is graduated from X-Telecom.
Before founding SnapCar with Yves in 2012, As SVP Global Operations, Dave contributed to the success of KDS where he met Yves and Herve. Before KDS, Dave worked as SVP Business Development at Reactivity from 2004 until its acquisition by Cisco in 2007. He previously collaborated with Cyclone Commerce, Goldman Sachs and Arthur Andersen. Dave is graduated from Stanford and Brigham Young.
From 1998 to 2008, Hervé contributed to the growth and acquisition of Cartesis, European Enterprise Performance Management Leader by Business Objects then SAP. He joined KDS as an investor and SVP Sales & Marketing from 2008 to 2016. Before joining Snapcar as an investor and General Manager, he led the French activities of eCommera, one of the top-50 fastest growing digital companies in Europe. Hervé is graduated from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris 10 Paris-Nanterre.
After 10 years in the IT industry, François joined SnapCar in 2016. Since then, he lacks rest but coffee.
Baptiste worked for Marriott (ex Starwood Hotels) as a digital marketing executive. He now works at SnapCar since 2017, as a Marketing Manager.
With an MBA from Edhec, Nathan built one of the first French e-hailing companies, which he sold to join SnapCar.
